Yet ANOTHER rainy day here in the Land of the Wild Things. What's a 3-year-old to do? Certainly not get out of his PJ's. How about an art project?

I purchased this great, affordable kit from Target. This one happens to be make your own kaleidoscopes, but we have had much success with many of the others (especially the little wooden race car kit). The $5 kits can keep Gavin entertained for quite a while. Each kit makes at least 2 projects and there's always lots of left over supplies (paint, stickers, beads, etc) that Gavin can use to concoct another art masterpiece.
